Submission Terms

These terms apply when you submit a track to Agu Ocha for consideration in a curated playlist or a monthly DJ set. They are written to be short and readable. If anything here does not work for you, simply do not submit.

Independent and unaffiliated. The playlists and DJ sets are curated and produced by Agu Ocha. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or operated by Suno or its owners. All product names, logos, and brands are the property of their respective owners, and any reference is for identification purposes only.

1. You keep your rights

You retain all ownership of the music you submit. Nothing here transfers any copyright, master rights, publishing rights, or neighbouring rights to Agu Ocha.

2. What you confirm

By submitting, you confirm that you own or control all the rights needed to give the permissions in section 3, and that you have the authority to give them.

Clearing any third-party material in your submission is your responsibility — that includes vocals, samples, beats, stems, interpolations, lyrics, featured performances, and artwork.

3. What you allow us to do

You give Agu Ocha permission to listen to your track and consider it. If it is selected, you also give permission to feature it. This permission is non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and revocable.

Specifically, you allow Agu Ocha to:

  • Stream, download, and review your submitted track.
  • Include a selected track in an Agu Ocha-curated playlist.
  • Include a selected track in a recorded, streamed, or published DJ set.
  • Mix a selected track into a DJ set using ordinary DJ technique — fades, crossfades, level adjustment, cueing, looping, and brief overlap with other tracks — as needed for a performance or a continuous mix.
  • Publish or stream the resulting DJ set on Agu Ocha’s websites, social channels, audio platforms, video platforms, and other official distribution channels.
  • Use reasonable excerpts from a selected track, or from a DJ set containing it, to promote that playlist, set, episode, or project.
  • Reference the track title, artist name, and cover art when promoting a playlist or set that includes it.

What this does not allow

This permission covers the uses listed above and nothing else. Without a separate written agreement, Agu Ocha will not:

  • Sell your track as a standalone release.
  • License or sublicense your track to anyone else.
  • Claim authorship of your track.
  • Take ownership of your track.
  • Create derivative works unrelated to a playlist or DJ set.
  • Use your track, or any part of it, to train AI models.
  • Use your track outside playlists, DJ sets, and directly related promotion.

Agu Ocha is not buying exclusive rights. You stay free to release, distribute, and promote your track anywhere else, at any time, including while it appears in a playlist or set.

If we ever need something beyond the permissions above, or need more information before publishing, we will contact you first.

4. No guarantee, and nothing for sale

Submission does not guarantee selection or placement. Selection is entirely at Agu Ocha’s discretion. Tracks are reviewed for upcoming playlists and DJ sets.

To be straightforward about what you can expect: if your track is selected, we will contact you within seven days. We cannot reply to every submission, so no reply is not a rejection notice — it usually means the track was not a fit for the sets being built that month. You are welcome to submit again next month.

No payment is required for submission or for placement, and placement cannot be purchased. We may add, reorder, or remove any track from a playlist, and may remove or unpublish a track or a DJ set, at our discretion.

5. Withdrawal

You may withdraw your submission at any time by texting +1 (762) 248-6242. We will remove the track from playlists we control within a reasonable period, and we will not include it in any new DJ set.

One practical limit worth stating plainly: a DJ set that has already been published as a single continuous recording cannot have one track lifted out of it. Where that is the case we will unpublish or replace the set instead. Removal from third-party platforms may take additional time to propagate.

6. Submissions are not confidential

Please do not send material you consider confidential. Submissions are not treated as confidential and create no confidential relationship. We may independently be creating, reviewing, or releasing work that resembles yours.

7. Eligibility and provenance

You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to submit. If your track was generated or assisted with an AI tool, you are responsible for confirming that the tool’s terms permit you to distribute it and to give the permissions in section 3.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published here at the time you submit is the version that applies to that submission.
